Automated Surveillance and Bomb Diffusing System for Military Applications

Abstract

Terrorism is a major threat to any country's growth. Terrorism can take many forms like ethno- nationalist terrorism, religious terrorism, left-wing terrorism, and narco-terrorism. In general, Terrorism disturbs human rights and it affects the health and wealth of any country. One form of terrorism is the planting of dangerous bombs in places where people gather in large amounts. These acts will create big damage to the lives and the properties of society. All Governments have bomb diffusion squad in their military team who will risk their lives in diffusing the planted bombs. They generally wear bomb-diffusing suits, and helmets before diffusing. But if the bomb explodes, their suits and helmets cannot protect them fully. They may lose their lives orbecome disabled. Here, we have designed a very low-costsurveillance and bomb-diffusing robot. This robot will become an extra layer of protection between the bomb and the squad. The main advantage lies in the dualpurpose. The first one is it will detect the bomb and the second one is it can be used for surveillance using the cameras in the robot. Any suspicious packetsfound can be easily checked for bombs using the designedwork
