Abstract
(Abstracted from Female Pelvic Med Reconstr Surg 2017;23:13–16) Following the introduction of abdominal sacrocolpopexy over 50 years ago, the procedure achieved excellent long-term anatomic success rates for the treating apical pelvic organ prolapse. However, the procedure is associated with significant morbidity.
