Anthropologically inspired creative design for intimate telepresence

Abstract

This study describes anthropologically inspired methodology in creative design for intimate telepresence. Anthropology is the study of humanity and among the experiences of human this study has focused on intimate interactions. Inspired by the concept of intimacy in human, and applying tinkering and iterative multilevel modeling, creative ideas for intimate telepresence are generated. Implications of anthropologically inspired methodology in creative design of intimate telepresence robots are described briefly. This study can act as a design guideline to emulate the experiences of humanity by synthetic agents through creative design.
