Abstract
Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) is considered as gold standard in most of surgical procedure. In this field, despite an initial slow diffusion due to the cost of the robot, it represents a valid therapeutic option in gastrointestinal surgery. The aim of this paper is the role of robotic in present and future of liver surgery.
