Abstract
In this paper, we propose a method for worker safety accident prevention and, predicting replacement cycle for motor management in the field of industrial robot using P.H.A.S (Piezoelectric energy Harvesting based Access control System). The proposed IoT sensor is attached to the motor that generates vibration, and it produces electricity through piezoelectric energy harvesting. It detects the beacon tag according to the operator approach through the built-in beacon scanner, and transmits the signal to the industrial robot to control the operation for operator's safety. Furthermore, vibration data collected from the sensor is transmitted to the server, and the machine learning algorithm is used to analyze the life cycle of the motor to provide a function of predicting the replacement, so that the productivity can be increased and work line also can be more efficiently managed.
