Abstract
Light trapping nanostructures implemented in PIN silicon photodetectors demonstrates more than 500% improvement of quantum efficiency at 905nm wavelength, enabling their implementation for short range, high resolution and low-cost LIDAR systems, required in new data driven applications such as robotics, agriculture and manufacturing.
