Abstract

This paper presents a review of a Solar-powered DC Supply in the processing of a minimalist design for a Surveillance Farming Robot, which monitors the animals at the farm. The rechargeable battery in this Solar-powered DC Supply is recharged while the robot moves around the farm on a sunny day. This Autonomous robot can be online remotely controlled and monitored by farmers. Solar DC supplies have been operated to support the robot while the robot is constantly being tested and improved in 5 years. The experiments conclude the Solar-powered DC Supply is able to stand alone to support a minimalist design of a Surveillance Farming Robot.
