Abstract
With the development of economic and science and technology, the whole society has increasingly high requirements for reliable and stable operation of the power system. As a key part of the power system, distribution network maintenance and new access to the network need different degrees of planning or temporary power outage to complete With the progress of technology. It is of great significance to improve the stability of power supply if the maintenance without power failure or new operation can be realized in the distribution network link. In this paper, the development status and characteristics of live work robot technology for distribution lines are reviewed. The problems existing in the design and application of live work robot are analyzed.
