Abstract
In recent years, various contests have been held targeting research on robots such as moon surface exploration rover. There are Tanegashima rocket contest to be held in March every year and Noshiro space event to be held in August. As a bigger competition, there is the ARLISS competition to be held in the Black Rock Desert in the USA. In this research, we aim at research and development of Mars Exploration Rover, design and manufacture rovers that perform autonomous running control towards the destination using GPS position information, conduct various evaluation experiments, then conduct demonstration tests As a participant in the ARLISS international convention.
