On Rendering Emotions on a Robotic Face

Abstract
Social Interaction with robots have made researchers pursue aspects that allow them to emote. Several robotic faces have been tried out which can provide a fair representation of their human counterpart. If a robot is to render what it feels at the moment it needs to internally generate emotions. In this paper we describe the use of an emotion engine to transduce emotions extracted out of a human face into their robotic equivalents using a robotic face. We show how these synthetic emotions play a significant role in rendering the human emotions in a near natural way.
