Abstract
This paper focuses on operational management aspects within the domain of operation and workflow optimization of Robot-assisted Surgery (RAS). It searches into various dimensions, including comparative analyses of RAS in contrast to traditional procedures. Furthermore, it explores strategic considerations associated with the implementation of RAS and its integration with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The paper also addresses tactical aspects, with a specific emphasis on the integration of Tactile Internet (TI) and Internet of Things (IoT) in the optimization of Robot-Assisted TeleSurgeries (RATS) workflows. Finally, it scrutinizes operational decisions, specifically investigating clinical utility and resource allocation.
