Abstract
Recently, educational-support robot have been attracting increasing attention as learning-support gadgets. Previous studies have used the sympathy expression method in which the robot expressed emotions that sympathize with the learner; however, the robot expressed only facial emotions in these studies. Currently, there is no study that uses the bodily movements along with facial expressions in the sympathy expression method. Therefore, in this paper, we examine the impressions pertaining to three types of robots that have different methods for expressing emotions.
