Survey on Multisensor Information Fusion Technology

Abstract

Multisensor information fusion is being applied to a wide variety of fields such as automated target recognition,battlefield surveillance,robotics,industrial process control,medical diagnostics,image processing and pattern recognition.The concept and the basic theory of the multisensor information fusion technology is introduced,and the problem of functional model and methods are discussed.The multisensor fusion method on D-S evidential theory relative to situation assessment system is put forward,since it can be used to deal with the uncertain problems in the system.
