Abstract
In the past, industrial robots, which have been used to perform repetitive tasks that simply replace people, are now expanding into so-called “collaborative robots” that collaborate with people to share their work spaces. These collaborative robots not only perform fast and precise tasks but also have safety functions to protect the human being performing the tasks together, sensing to perform such safety functions, accurate And control performance are required as key performance indicators. Therefore, collaborative robots are actively studying the accuracy of control performance rather than repeatability, and robot calibration methods for them.
