[Liver Surgery - Setup, Port Placement, Structured Surgical Steps - Standard Operating Procedures in Robot-Assisted Liver Surgery].

Abstract

Experience in robot-assisted liver surgery has so far been limited to a few international centres. Surgeons with experience in both laparoscopic and robot-assisted liver surgery do agree that the importance of robot-assisted techniques will increase significantly in the coming years. On the basis of our own experience during the establishment of our robot liver program and through the lively exchange with internationally leading colleagues in this field, we have established "Standard Operating Procedures" at our centre, which we have summarised in this work.
