Abstract

We propose an automatic calibration method of a 3D sensor using a real-time simulator. With this method, the relative posture of a real sensor is estimated by obtaining the rigid body coordinate transformation that associates the virtual and real sensors in real-time. Moreover, the results of applying the method to a real system and verifying its effectiveness are shown.
