Abstract

Fire extinguishing robots, quadcopters and drones have become a groundbreaking technology to operate under severe disastrous conditions. Fire disasters have become a serious issue in recent years; causing hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries and burnt out of million-dollar properties. Due to inefficiency and lack of testing of existing fire-extinguishing systems, it takes too long for fire fighters to take control over the fire. In case of high-rise buildings and bushfires, it becomes more complicated and challenging for fire fighters to reach on time to extinguish fire. In developing countries, due to absence of emergency vehicle roads, fire fighters become unable to reach at the affected area on time. Considering the problems and to seek for a perpetual solution, a prototype of fire extinguishing ball thrower quadcopter has been made in this research; where some experimental objects have been used to represent the fire-extinguishing balls for future fire extinguishing purpose.
