Abstract

In view of the problems existing in the manual inspection of a belt conveyor in coal mining, a kind of patrol robot system for mining belt conveyor is designed. The hardware composition and function of the belt conveyor patrol robot system are emphatically introduced. The hardware design, data collection and software realization method of the patrol robot system are also discussed. The system, which replaces the manual inspection, can lighten the burden of inspectors, detect problems in time, and provide reliable guarantee for the safe production of the belt conveyors.
