Industrial applications of predictive functional control to rolling mill, fast robot, river dam

Abstract

After a brief presentation of predictive functional control (PFC), three applications are described: 1) thickness control of a cold rolling mill; 2) water level control of the Rhone river; and 3) position control of a fast robot.
