Abstract
A description is presented of PSUBOT (Portland State University roBOT)-a computerized electric wheelchair commanded by voice. The general description of the existing version is presented: control algorithms, navigation, and human interface. Also discussed are the basic principles of the new version under development, which will include computer vision.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
