摘要

Due of the demand for collaborative robots, robotic technology advancements have historically been concentrated on the industrial sector. However, the service industries, particularly the healthcare industry, do not operate in this manner. The healthcare industry has not received enough attention, which has created new opportunities for the development of service robots that assist people with impairments, illnesses, and cognitive difficulties. In an effort to combat the challenges and adversities brought on by this epidemic, the COVID-19 epidemic has also functioned as a spur for the creation of service robots in the healthcare industry. The employment of service robots is lucrative because they not only slow the transmission of disease and lower the risk of fatal mistake, but they also enable front-line employees to avoid direct contact with patients while focusing on higher priority duties and avoiding exposure to infectious agents. This paper provides an overview of several robotic technology kinds and applications in the medical and healthcare fields. The use of robotics is formerly there in healthcare, but it’s not main-aqueduct yet and it would take some time for that to come a reality Pay attention to the necessity of robotics in the healthcare industry, as well as their added benefits to healthcare quality and cost savings over the long term. With this, telemedicine, the future of healthcare, would become a reality, making it much simpler and less expensive for patients to obtain high-quality treatment anywhere in the world without physically going to the hospital, the sanitorium.
