Impact of AI on the Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality Sectors

The modern travel business makes use of several types of artificial intelligence (AI). Robots, conversational systems, smart travel agents, language translation applications, and forecasting systems, conversational personalization and recommender systems, bots, and voice recognition and natural language processing systems are all part of this category. Recent years have seen remarkable progress in artificial intelligence (AI) because to improvements in computing power, algorithms, and big data. Here we take a look at how AI has altered and is altering the core procedures of the travel sector. Before diving into the specific AI systems and applications used in the travel and tourist industry, we cover the IT fundamentals of AI that are pertinent to this field. We next take a close look at the hotel industry, which is implementing these technologies at a rapid pace. Finally, we outline a research agenda, discuss the difficulties of using AI in the tourist industry, and paint a picture of where this field may go from here.
