摘要
This paper introduces a new concept for all directional through the wall radar imaging using an ad hoc network of mobile transceivers. In the proposed method, instead of using a large array of transmitting and receiving antennas which usually limits the imaging of the buildings' interior from outside, a limited number of transceivers mounted on moving robots are used. As robots move, reflected signal is sampled at different positions. By applying an appropriate beam forming technique to the samples of the scattered signal, a 360o view of the building interior can be obtained with a high cross-range resolution and significantly reduce the ambiguity in the detection of the objects' positions. Applying this method enables imaging of buildings from inside which results in obtaining more accurate map of buildings' interiors.
