Based on the fifth generation of mobile communication (5G), 5G open grid computing environment (5G OGCE), and cloud sea computing (CSC) in 5G OGCE, a marine boundary guard robot (MBGR) based on CSC are presented in this paper. A MBGR model is composed of models of Jellyfish (Cyanea Capillata), scallop and flying fish (Cypselurus). Its purpose is to carry out resources and energy exploitation under the support of 5G OGCE. It performs the tasks of rescue and maintenance in sea operation areas, and guard offshore oil fields and offshore wind turbine farm. It and the offshore flexible manufacturing systems constitute the underwater Intelligent Factory and/or Smart Factory. The MBGR can be distributed in different depths of sea. It can float on surface of sea to generate its own electricity, or it can dive to the bottom of sea. The tentacle cable robots (CRs) of MBGR are used to capture underwater unidentified AUVs, detect, search and rescue and salvage aircraft falling into the sea. The MBGR is capable of capturing small underwater vehicles, and wrapping and enlacing the propeller blades of large ships by its tentacle CRs and two-hand-type robots (BHT-AUVs) at the end of tentacle CRs. When it is needed to quickly pursue and search for ships at sea, the MBGR can leap out of sea and fly a period of time. The sea eight banners (SEBs) are formed by MBGRs. SEBs can be used to guard coast, and maritime space at different depths.
