摘要
This paper delivers successful one years of experience of Multidisciplinary PBL especially for Industrial Automation domain implemented in India for final year engineering students through a case study on design and development of Intelligent Autonomous Robot and its outcomes. This project was accomplished considering a collaborative work in which 4 engineering disciplines (Computer Science, Electronic engineering, Mechanical engineering and Electrical Engineering) from Engineering Institute and supported by Automation companies. This paper talk over knowledge and skills that the engineering students were expected to attain at the end of the project, and the methods of assessment. The designing, manufacturing, of the intelligent autonomous robot are described. The various steps in the project evaluation and their impact on Program Outcomes is discussed. The results demonstrate that this experience is overwhelmingly positive and worth. Since it empowers and contribute to positive learning experiences.
