The great evolution of farming over the years has led this industry of agriculture to the point where we can concisely speak about ’smart agriculture’. This notion refers to facilitating the farms’ administration with the help of cutting-edge technology such as Internet-of-Things, sensors, robots, and artificial intelligence Precision agriculture and greenhouse monitoring are the main IoT applications developed in agriculture. Precision agriculture is based on improving agricultural cultivation by enhancing and automating all the agricultural factors. The worth of Libelium’s Agriculture IoT platform has been recognized over the years due to a significant number of international projects, which has successfully monitored vineyards, strawberries, bananas, cocoa, kiwis, olives, baby leaves, tobacco, corn and so forth.
