摘要
This paper introduces the process from modeling to prototype manufacturing of a triphibious robot first and then analytically and experimentally evaluates the performance of it. Triphibious robot is a robot that can swim underwater, roll on the land and fly in the air. Most traditional robots only have a single pattern of movement, so they are unable to adapt to the complex and diverse environment. In order to improve the environmental adaptability of robots, we developed a triphibious robot. It is composed of rotor institution, cylinder protection mechanism, and waterproof sealing mechanism. Through 3D modeling, computer simulation and establishment of dynamic model, the theoretical design parameters can be compared with the performance parameters such as speed and operational time that measured in reality experiments. The performance evaluation was carried out to find out the shortcomings of current research and we can explore further improvement strategies and lay a solid foundation for further research in the future.
