About
Zhengjun Chen is a pioneering urologic surgeon whose research centers on advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques for prostate and kidney cancers, with a particular focus on robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery. His most significant contributions involve the development and validation of innovative single-incision approaches for radical prostatectomy. Chen's landmark 2023 study (7 citations) introduced a modified extraperitoneal free-PORT single-incision technique, demonstrating its clinical efficacy compared to traditional transabdominal multi-incision robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy.
