Dr. Yuk Him Tam is a pioneering pediatric urologist whose research focuses on advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques for congenital urological conditions in children. His major contributions center on comparing robot-assisted laparoscopic pyeloplasty (RALP) with traditional laparoscopic pyeloplasty (LP) for treating ureteropelvic junction obstruction, demonstrating that robotic approaches offer superior outcomes even in the youngest patients.
