About
Xu Qiao is a leading researcher in neurorehabilitation engineering, with a primary focus on developing and evaluating robotic systems for post-stroke motor recovery. Her work centers on the critical question of how to optimize upper and lower limb rehabilitation through advanced robotic interventions. Qiao’s most significant contribution is her 2023 single-blinded three-arm randomized controlled trial, which rigorously compared unilateral versus bilateral robot-assisted rehabilitation using a novel three-dimensional end-effector robot.
