Vincenzo Mazzaferro is a pioneering hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeon whose work is reshaping the landscape of minimally invasive liver and pancreatic surgery. His research focuses on the comparative effectiveness of robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical approaches, particularly for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and complex liver tumors.
