Usha Chakravarthy is a world-renowned ophthalmologist and translational researcher whose work has fundamentally shaped the understanding and treatment of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), the leading cause of blindness in older adults. Her primary research areas include neovascular AMD, retinal imaging, and the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
