Toyonori Tsuzuki is a leading urological pathologist whose work has fundamentally shaped the surgical management of prostate cancer. His landmark study on radical retropubic prostatectomy critically examined the frequency of positive surgical margins in cases of extraprostatic extension near the neurovascular bundle, providing essential benchmarks that have guided surgeons for nearly two decades.
