Shingo Kanaji is a leading figure in the advancement of minimally invasive surgery for gastrointestinal cancers, with a particular focus on esophageal and colorectal malignancies. His work has been instrumental in refining surgical techniques to reduce morbidity while maintaining oncologic rigor.
