Rebecca M. Minter is a pioneering surgical oncologist whose research has fundamentally advanced the field of minimally invasive pancreatic surgery. Her work focuses on comparing robotic and laparoscopic approaches for complex pancreatic procedures, particularly pancreaticoduodenectomy and distal pancreatectomy. Through landmark studies using the NSQIP database, including her highly cited 2017 analysis of robotic versus laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy (94 citations), Minter has provided critical evidence on the safety, efficacy, and outcomes of these techniques.
