Patrick Francis is a researcher at the intersection of human-computer interaction, end-user programming, and industrial robotics. His work centers on democratizing access to robot programming by designing tools and interfaces that enable non-experts — including factory workers and small business operators — to program industrial and collaborative robots without years of specialized training.
