Dr. Pankaj Sadavarte is an atmospheric scientist whose research centers on the simulation and characterization of aerosols and trace gases over the Indian subcontinent. His most impactful work, “Aerosol Optical Depth Over India” (2018, 133 citations), leverages the GEOS-Chem global chemical transport model alongside the SMOG emission inventory to provide a high-resolution, three-dimensional simulation of tropospheric aerosol optical depth (AOD) across India.
