P Trevisan is a pioneering figure in the advancement of minimally invasive surgery, with a primary focus on robotic and laparoscopic techniques for treating colorectal diseases and complex endocrine procedures. Trevisan’s major contribution lies in systematically comparing traditional laparoscopic approaches with emerging robotic systems, demonstrating how robotic technology can overcome the loss of three-dimensional visualization and dexterity inherent in conventional laparoscopy.
