O. Malard is a leading head and neck surgeon whose research has fundamentally advanced the field of transoral robotic surgery (TORS) for aerodigestive tract cancers. As a key member of the French GETTEC group, Malard has spearheaded landmark multicenter studies that have defined the safety, efficacy, and functional outcomes of robotic approaches. Their seminal 2015 work, a morbidity and mortality review of the French TORS group (70 citations), established critical benchmarks for patient safety.
