Michel Adamina is a leading figure in colorectal and visceral surgery, with a research focus on minimally invasive techniques for rectal cancer and pelvic floor disorders. His major contributions include pioneering work in transanal total mesorectal excision (TaTME) and robotic surgery, where he has systematically compared open, laparoscopic, robotic, and transanal approaches.
