Micaela Piccoli is a surgeon-researcher whose work sits at the dynamic intersection of emergency surgery, artificial intelligence, and robotic-assisted operative techniques. Her most influential contribution to date is the ARIES project, a landmark international web-based survey examining how acute care and emergency surgeons worldwide perceive, understand, and apply artificial intelligence in clinical practice.
