Dr. Marilyn Greer is a leading gynecologic oncologist whose research has fundamentally shaped surgical practice in women’s cancer care. Her work focuses on three critical areas: optimizing staging procedures, advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques, and improving surgeon well-being. Greer’s landmark 2010 study on lymphadenectomy during endometrial cancer staging, cited 135 times, revealed significant practice pattern variations among gynecologic oncologists, establishing evidence-based guidelines that continue to influence clinical decision-making.
