About

Lilly Namvar is a leading virologist whose work has fundamentally advanced the molecular detection of herpes simplex viruses (HSV). Her primary research focuses on developing rapid, high-throughput diagnostic methods for HSV-1 and HSV-2, pathogens responsible for everything from common cold sores to life-threatening central nervous system infections.
