Laurence Barbier is a cell biologist whose research has significantly advanced our understanding of the molecular mechanisms driving cancer cell invasion and metastasis. Her work centers on the specialized cellular protrusions, known as pseudopodia, that tumor cells use to navigate and degrade the extracellular matrix during invasion.
