Lars Forberger is a materials chemist whose research focuses on the synthesis and phase control of fluoride-based nanomaterials, particularly for photonic and biomedical applications. His most cited work introduces a surfactant-assisted sonochemical method for producing water-dispersible beta-phase sodium yttrium fluoride (NaYF₄) nanoparticles.
