About
Ki Joon Kim is a leading researcher in human–robot interaction (HRI), with a particular focus on how social and psychological factors shape people’s perceptions of and engagement with robotic agents. His work bridges communication theory, social robotics, and human–computer interaction, exploring how robots can be designed to serve as caregivers, companions, and instructors.
