About

Dr. Kazumitsu Suzuki is a pioneering robotic surgeon whose work is reshaping the landscape of gastric and esophageal cancer surgery. His primary research focuses on the clinical application and refinement of advanced robotic platforms, including the novel hinotori™ and da Vinci™ SP single-port systems, to perform minimally invasive gastrectomy and esophagectomy. Dr. Suzuki’s major contributions lie in establishing the feasibility and safety of these cutting-edge technologies, as evidenced by his first clinical experiences with the hinotori™ system (27 citations) and the da Vinci™ SP system.
