About
K. Stavoe is a pioneering cardiac surgeon whose work has helped define the emerging field of robotic-assisted heart failure surgery. Stavoe’s primary research focuses on the application of minimally invasive robotic techniques for the implantation of left ventricular assist devices (LVADs)—a life-saving therapy for patients with end-stage heart failure.
