Dr. Julie Pepe is a leading gynecologic oncologist whose research focuses on improving surgical outcomes for women with endometrial and cervical cancers through innovative imaging techniques and minimally invasive approaches. Her seminal 2017 prospective cohort study, cited 70 times, established colorimetric and fluorescent imaging as effective tools for sentinel lymph node mapping in endometrial cancer, significantly reducing the morbidity associated with complete lymphadenectomy.
