John V. Heymach is a leading thoracic oncologist whose research has fundamentally reshaped the treatment landscape for non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). His primary focus lies at the intersection of immunotherapy and surgical oncology, where he has pioneered neoadjuvant strategies that combine checkpoint inhibitors with chemotherapy before tumor resection.
